With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ponelo Insure's founder is a Motswana woman entrepreneur who built this brokerage with a clear vision: to create a locally-owned, empathetic insurance brokerage that truly understands and serves Batswana.
Her career spans employee benefits, bancassurance, corporate distribution, and financial services across Botswana's leading institutions — including a leading insurance company and a leading bank. Beginning her journey in 1997 as an Employee Benefits Administrator, she steadily rose through the ranks to lead multi-million-pula distribution channels, build bancassurance divisions from the ground up, and serve on the Board Audit and Actuarial Committee — shaping how protection is delivered to everyday Batswana.
Today, that same hands-on experience and deep institutional knowledge powers every scheme, every claim, and every conversation at Ponelo Insure. Clients benefit from a leader who has sat on both sides of the table — as a corporate executive and as a community advocate — and who understands that insurance is, at its heart, a promise kept when it matters most.
